Supercross is Back!! With a new track going in this year and a brand new watering system, this ought to be an outstanding event. One of the great things about the BMC Supercross Track, is that you can see the entire Track! Catch all the Action without missing a beat.

Sounds like the classes will be similar to the Reiter’s Classic Series.. Since you have the Reiter’s Series right before Supercross, it only makes sense to keep the classes the same. I will post the classes soon.. It looks like we will try and have online sign up for both the Reiter’s and Supercross back to back…

TRACKS IN THIS SERIES:
BMC (BILLINGS, MT)
Owned and operated by one of the oldest AMA-sanctioned clubs in the country, this facility runs alongside the Yellowstone River under big Cottonwood trees. On the main motocross track, the dirt varies from silty soil in the back half of the track to clay in the front half. The main track has numerous fast sweepers, a few doubles, a big tabletop, whoops and a rhythm section. There is also a separate pee-wee track. The motocross tracks are just one of the amenities on the 2000-acre riding area.There are no dogs allowed at BMC events.

Directions: Take S. Billings Blvd Exit off of I-90 and head south. Go 1.5 miles, take a left on Old Blue Creek Road, at the CASEYS GAS STATIONI and follow the road back until you get to the track.

HYLINE RACEWAY (BOZEMAN, MT)
The Gallatin Valley Dirt Riders (GVDR) operate and promote Hyline Raceway. Hyline Raceway is a top-level, professionally designed and built motocross track, earning the 2011 Montana Motocross Track of the Year award. The design of the track includes challenging dirt features for all skill levels. Changes are made to the track layout throughout the year. It also features a high-capacity irrigation system, rock-free soil consisting of a sand/clay mixture and regular weekly maintenance. In 2008, Hyline Raceway was chosen as the location for the inaugural Red Bull Renewal project.

Directions:
From Bozeman: Go west on US 191 to Four Corners (6 miles). At Four Corners, continue west on MT 84 for 1.2 miles. Turn right on River Road. Continue north on River Road for 3.1 miles. Turn left on Bitterroot Road and continue west for 0.7 miles. The track is located off the left side of road.

From Belgrade: Go south on MT 85. Turn right on to Cameron Bridge Road and continue west to River Road. Turn left on to River Road and continue south to Bitterroot Road. Turn left on Bitterroot Road and continue west for 0.7 miles. The track is located off the left side of road

LAST CHANCE RACEWAY (HELENA, MT)
Parking and overnight camping on race days, track grooming and watering, toilets, cement gate. The track is packed bentonite base with a lot of sand that has been added. It can turn into slick gumbo when wet. Lay out is mostly natural with a good variety of man-made jumps, whoops and rhythm section.

Directions: East on York Road off of Montana Ave from Helena. Approx, 8 miles to track on left sife of road.

COKEDALE RACEWAY (LIVINGSTON, MT)
Cokedale Raceway is most likely the oldest motocross track in Montana, first built in the mid-1970′s. The main feature of the track is its natural terrain. You could consider this track ‘the Glen Helen of Montana’. The track is 1.25 miles long built over soft loam and dry hard pack on the biggest hills. The track was rebuilt in 2012. There is a 85-foot uphill double, 65-foot uphill double, several ski jumps and tabletops that send riders through the air. Designed along the bordering hillside, there is also a big, winding climb and a long, winding downhill.

Directions: 5 miles west of Livingston on Cokedale Rd.

Description:
The Reiter’s Cup Motocross Series has run for more than a decade of great weekday evening motocross racing at Billings Motorcycle Club. These races offer some great seat time and friendly competition. The jumps are big, the turns are deep and the speeds are fast as some of the region’s best motocross athletes go head to head to take the lead and capture points that can lead to the series trophy and series pro money!

Billings Motorcycle Club has been promoting motorcycle racing for more than 90 years and knows how to put on well-organized, challenging and safe races. Riders will offer spectators some phenomenal demonstrations of physical expertise and raw talent. Most competitors are multi-discipline riders who carry a wide range of skills and true passion for motorcycling. Their western roots make them fearless. When you put it all together in one race, it is guaranteed to be exciting.

A full slate of classes is run, from pros to veterans, seniors to women, from three years to sixty-four years of age. The 1 3/4 mile track along the Yellowstone River and the 50 track (for the kids) have both been reconditioned and offer plenty of excitement for the spectators and dramatic competition for all levels of riders.

Spectators are welcome and ample parking allows them to watch from a variety of vantage points. Remember to bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the beautiful spring evening. Concessions are available. Come out and see the riders fly across the big Montana Sky!
