2010 Western States Professional Hill Climb Series
The Western States Professional Hill Climb Series has concluded its 6th year in 2010! With increasing rider counts, spectator attendance and both local and national sponsors coming on board, the Series was stronger than ever. And record payouts for the professional hill climbers has set the Rockwell Western States series above all of the other U.S. hill climb series.
In 2009, ror the first time in the history of the Western States series, one rider has successfully completed the Triple Crown. Petey Krunich of Hayward, California won the overall championship at each of the series' three events in 2009, the Big Sky Challenge, Widowmaker and the Great American. Congratulations Petey!
In 2010, the competition was fierce throughout the season. In the 8 professional classes, there were 8 different series champions:

40+ ProMasters - Pete Krunich
50+ ProMasters - Ray Halsey
251 - 600 Pro Altered - Petey Krunich

Friday Evening Start Time: 5:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday Start Time: 8:00 am
Admission: $7.00 per person each day
Guaranteed Pro Purse: $30,000.00

Important: Membership in the Western State series guarantees the competitor an entry in both the Widowmaker and Great American events, provided that class pre-entry requirements and postmark deadlines are met.
